Biblical Symphonies

Biblical Symphonies is an on going musical project around the music of Dr. Baruch Berliner. His oratorio “Genesis” was the central work at a Gala Concert in Vienna in 2018, conducted by Ronen Nissan.

Under the Motto “3000 years Jewish history and culture” Bernstein’s Symphony no. 1 and music composed in Theresienstadt by Viktor Ullmann were also performed.

In 2019 “Genesis” was revised, expanded and re-orchestrated by Ronen Nissan, and this new version was performed in Tallin (Estonia) and in St. Petersburg (Russia), the later by Mr. Nissan himself. Further performances in Leipzig and Hamburg, among others, are scheduled for 2020.
